Why Feed Raw

One thing you will notice within the first few days of feeding your pets a raw diet is weird poops.  Their system is cleaning out all of the old food/additives and should stop after a day or two. Another thing that you will notice very quickly is a drastic reduction in the amount of water your pet drinks; they are getting the moisture that they need in the food and vegetables.  Another reason they don’t drink as much is that they don’t require all that water to help digest dry dog food.  You will also notice that your pet doesn’t poop as much and that their poops are much smaller than they used to be; their bodies are actually using the majority of the food that they are eating.  In the long run, you will notice a more beautiful, softer coat, smaller, less stinky poops, excitement to eat (even more so than before), and fewer skin issues/allergies, among other things. Hopefully in the long run, they will live longer, healthier lives with fewer diseases down the road.
